TORONTO (AP) The Global T20 Canada match between the Edmonton Royals and Vancouver Knights was cancelled Friday due to wet conditions at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club caused by a thunderstorm the previous evening.

Each team will receive one point in the standings. With the point, Vancouver moves into sole possession of second place of the six-team league with five points, while Edmonton moves up into fourth at three points.

Play will resume Saturday with the Toronto Nationals facing the unbeaten Cricket West Indies, and the Winnipeg Hawks taking on Edmonton.
